LLC "KINEF" and Vadim Somov have been mentioned in the same breath for decades.
Mr. Somov is an extraordinary personality. He has an unlikely combination of qualities: innate intelligence, compassion for others, and the stern disposition of a true production director that was polished and tested in both Soviet and post-Soviet eras.
Vadim rightfully holds the title of Honorary Citizen of the Leningrad Region. He has done and continues to do a great deal for the region: he constantly modernises production at LLC "KINEF", ensures various social benefits for the company's staff, and contributes to the development of sports and culture in Kirishi. And in everything he does, he proves that perfection can be achieved. His patronising of water polo has allowed the Kirishi women's team to become unchallenged champions of Russia. He also brings culture to the people in the region: among other things, he facilitated the establishment of a branch of the Russian Museum in Kirishi, and also enabled Kirishi to become a regular destination for Maly Drama Theatre tours.
I wish Mr. Somov health and energy to continue his many good deeds, and success with all his new beginnings and creative ideas!
A. Yu. Drozdenko,
Governor of the Leningrad Region
